At our booth at health fairs, we invite visitors to share the latest information on research into allergies and anaphylaxis as well as ways to manage allergies for families. We also discuss how the community can help with local activism and legislation.

On May 19th the Allergy Advocacy Association joined NYS Senator Mike Ranzenhofer, Assemblyman Tom Abinanti and representatives from others in the allergy advocacy community in support of the Emergency Allergy Treatment Act (EATA).

Asthma and Allergy Network 30th Anniversary Celebration
During the first week of May the Allergy Advocacy Association attended the Allergy and Asthma Network 30th anniversary conference and awards dinner in Washington DC. Jon Terry was honored with an Outstanding Patient award for his work with the Allergy Advocacy Association.

On June 29th the Allergy Advocacy Association participated in the “Food Allergy Awareness Day” activities at Frontier Field sponsored by the Rochester Red Wings.
